"Shadows of the flower" is a fully immersive, multi sensory experience in which only 40 audience members per performance explore the real geisha dreamscape. The story told through various genres of dance, will guide you through the life of an Asakusa geisha while walking through the district and the venue. The show is non-verbal so anyone from any country can enjoy it.

Asakusa Kagai was established in 1752, and has continued to develop and change with the times. In the late 1920s, there were almost 1000 geisha, 50 restaurants, and 250 tea houses. But now, however, there are only about 20 geisha, 6 restaurants, and the number of incoming successors has been decreasing. Our immersive show invites a new, young generation to appreciate and engage with the Geisha culture, uniting innovation and tradition by official support from the Geisha Union.
